  20. No, much as Newtek wasn't equipped to rescue Commodore, don't look to a 
  21. third-party to save Apple.

  25. Apple has "Commodore" written all over it.  Nobody trusts the management, 
  26. no projects are being completed, and key personnel are leaving to start a 
  27. new company and do things the right way.

  31. I've got no love lost for the Apple platform.  It's not my thing.  But I 
  32. firmly believe that the more choice there is for mainstream computer 
  33. users, the better off computing is in general.  The Amiga isn't back at 
  34. the point that it's a viable mainstream choice--because except in Europe, 
  35. you can't FIND it anywhere.  Apple is the placeholder, and token 
  36. non-Microsoft choice.  They need to at least hold out for the next 
  37. generations of Amigas and other platforms--if they're successfully 
  38. brought to the mass market.
